Jon Wilson

Jon was born in 1981 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and is the oldest of five kids. In 1986, Jon’s family moved to Houston, Texas where he lived until he moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas. Jon earned his degree in economics, with a minor in business, and began working in the restaurant industry.

Over the course of his 25-year career in the restaurant industry, Jon worked as a manager, general manager, consultant, and director of operations for several large restaurant franchises. He is skilled in leadership, team building, quality control, facility maintenance, and is well-known for his efficiency. Jon joined the Pillar to Post franchise in 2024 because he saw an opportunity to use his unique skill set to enhance the home buying and selling process.

Jon has been happily married to his wife Kaela for over twenty years. They have two children and a rotating roster of pets that currently includes two dogs, a bearded dragon, two tortoises, and fish. In his spare time, Jon enjoys hiking and camping with his family, hunting, and hanging out at the pool or beach.

Kaela Wilson

Kaela was born in 1981 in Denver, Colorado. In 1987, her family moved Houston, Texas. Kaela attended the University of Texas and earned degrees in biology and psychology before earning a doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Houston. Kaela has worked in mental health, education, AI training, and freelance writing.

Kaela and Jon met in high school and have been happily married for over twenty years. For the past fourteen years, most of Kaela’s work has involved managing their household, their two kids, and their ever-expanding roster of pets. Kaela excels in connecting with people and enjoys being part of a team that is focused on helping people feel confident in their investments. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, and hiking and camping with her family.

Paul Mancha Jr

Paul was born in 1974 in Santa Ana, California.  After graduating high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.  Following a 6-year tour of duty, Paul was honorably discharged in 1999. 

Paul’s dedication to service led him to his next job as a police officer in Phoenix, Arizona.  He honorably retired from the police department after 23 years of service. Paul has been married for 20 wonderful years.  He and his wife adore their 13-year-old daughter.  

Paul’s attention to detail and motivation to help others go hand in hand as a home inspector. He joined Pillar to Post in 2025 and is passionate about helping first time and seasoned home buyers.

Ty Detloff

Ty was born in 1984 in Lancaster, California. He joined the U.S. Navy in 2003 and served for 21 years. During his career in the Navy, Ty worked in Military Police and Intelligence. He excels in leadership and team-building. Ty joined Pillar to Post in 2025 and uses his skills to help homebuyers feel confident in their decisions.

Ty has been happily married to his wife Mirinda for 18 years and they have three kids. Ty and his family first moved to San Antonio in 2007, when they bought their first home on the Westside. In his spare time, Ty enjoys working out, watching football, hanging out with his family, and enjoying his pool.

Kody Seidel

Kody was born in New Braunfels, Texas and attended Texas Tech University, where he met his wife. After living in several different places, they moved to San Antonio and Kody devoted his time to learning the construction and inspection industries. Kody has six years of experience as a home inspector and his RWC (Residential Warranty Corporation) and ICC (International Code Council) licenses demonstrate his deep understanding of the construction process for new homes. His knowledge, combined with his attention to detail, make him a valuable addition to our team. Kody enjoys attending and hosting church functions and outdoor activities, including hunting, fishing, and camping with his family.

Kate Kear

Kate was born in Defiance, Ohio in 1979 and is the oldest of three girls. Kate met Nate in July 2001, and they were married exactly two years later. They relocated to Georgia for Nate’s job. While living in there, Kate learned to love college football and has now been a Georgia Bulldog fan for over twenty years. GO DAWGS! Eventually, Kate and Nate found their way to San Antonio, Texas, where they have lived for sixteen years.

Kate and Nate have two children, two labrador retrievers, and a cat. Kate has been a stay-at-home momma for twenty years and a substitute teacher for the past eight years. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, and tending to her houseplants.
